Work Overview:
This rogue/assassin/thief-type character was sculpted in ZBrush and textured using Substance Painter.
The model was produced while taking part in a Digital Sculpting course at Savannah College of Art & Design. The Digital Sculpting course at SCAD introduced sculpting into my modelling tool set. Choosing a character with an un-emphasized aesthetic like a rogue, assassin or thief allowed me to focus on learning ZBrush and character modelling workflow.
Course Description: Students cultivate digital sculpting skills as they produce a realistic character sculpt with aesthetic appeal, mood and texture using 2D and 3D editing, painting and sculpting technologies.
